Lafarge Aggregates Southeast's
Friendship Quarry was the 2005 recipient
of the Georgia Mining Association's
Presidents Award for Community
Relations, aka, "Good Neighbor" award.
In the National Stone, Sand and Gravel
Association's award programs, the quarry
won "Showplace" in the 2006 About Face
Program, and the "Pinnacle Award for
community relations .
These awards recognize the importance
that Friendship Quarry places on the
views and opinions of the stake holders,
our neighbors.
