The Newton quarry is located about
30 miles east of the center of
Atlanta. Situated on the fast
growing I-20 corridor, the quarry is
well situated to capture growth in
Newton County and parts of
Rockdale and Walton Counties.
To keep up with the demand, we're
building a new plant that can supply
our customers without us needing
to work long hours. Our neighbors
will enjoy the benefits of quieter
evenings.
In addition to the upgrade in plant
equipment, Newton County is also
upgrading the water system. Ponds
are being built to improve water
quality before it is discharged from
the site. Process water is recycled
in the plant and/or used to control
dust.
